
Bharat Bhandari
Executive Director
Bharat Bhandari holds a Master in Environment Science (specialization in Biodiversity Management) from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Sweden and Bachelors in Agriculture from the Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He is currently working as Executive Director in LI-BIRD. He brings two decades experience of working at I/NGO setting in Nepal with a proven track record of design, execution and management of multi-sectoral and multi-partner's programmes and projects in agrobiodiversity and food security, natural resource management, climate-resilient agriculture, climate change adaptation and community based DRR. He also provided Technical Assistance (TA) support to government agencies and development partner organizations on areas of designing and implementing climate-smart agriculture solutions and formulating strategy and action plans of the Agriculture sector for local governments.
