A one-day travelling seminar was organized by LIBIRD to Jorayal RM, ward 4, Kumara Village through the Resilient Mountain Solution (RMS) project, in coordination and collaboration with Jorayal and Purbichowki Rural Municipality on December 30, 2022. The target participants of the event were representatives from Climate Change Management Division of Ministry of Forests and Environment (CCMD-MoFE), Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperative (MoLMAC), Dhangadhi, Sudurpaschim Province, Agriculture Research Directorate, Bhagetada, Dipayal, Doti (ARD), Directorate of Agriculture Development, Dipayal (ADD), Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Project (PMAMP), Agriculture Knowledge Centre (AKC), Doti, Jorayal and Purbichauki Rural Municipality and farmers from respective climate model village. The overarching objective of the seminar was to demonstrate the different climate smart technologies and practices adopted in the learning center and advocate for its scale up in the policies, plan and programs through sharing the learning and evidence generated in the field. The event followed three major sections i.e., introduction and orientation, direct field observation and interaction with the community people, and reflection of the program after the field visit.
