A one-day travelling seminar was organized by LI-BIRD to the project sites of Climate Resilient Agriculture (CRA Phase 3) and Paristhiti Yantra (PY) of Pokhara MC on 1st of July 2025. The target participants of the event were the representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives (MoLMAC), Gandaki Province, Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Project (PMAMP), Agriculture Knowledge Centre (AKC), Kaski, Agriculture Section of Pokhara Metropolitan City, market representatives, media representatives, and representatives of farmer’s groups and cooperatives of the project sites. The main objective of the travelling seminar was to demonstrate various successful initiatives promoted by LI-BIRD in the area, foster meaningful dialogue between policy makers and planners, and influence them for upscaling through integrating into local and provincial government’s plans and programme.
The travelling seminar was conducted with three key sessions, introduction and orientation session, field visit and interaction with beneficiaries, and reflection of the field visit and closing session.
