Field-Level OIO Workshop Successfully Conducted under the CRA Project!

Under LI-BIRD’s Climate Resilient Agriculture (CRA III) project, supported by Brot für die Welt [Bread for the World (BfdW)] Germany and implemented by LI-BIRD, a comprehensive two-day Outcome & Impact Orientation (OIO) workshop was held on July 14-15, 2026. The event took place at Ranithok Village and the LI-BIRD Site Office in Patthar, Annapurna RM-3, Kaski. Facilitated by Basudha Gurung from the Organisation Development Centre (ODC), the workshop was a fruitful gathering of project staff and local community representatives to enhance field-level monitoring and planning processes. The first day focused on community engagement, featuring interactive timeline exercises to track local achievements since October 2024 and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) to document real change stories from farmers working on the Agroecological (AE) model village initiatives.

The second day focused on linking these ground realities with project management frameworks. Participants reviewed data collection tools, analyzed effect chain logics, and discussed ways to align field findings with BfdW’s OIO progress reporting expectations. By connecting community experiences directly with project planning, the workshop concluded with clear action points to further improve OIO practices in future implementation cycles. Sincere appreciation goes to the community members of Ranithok and the project team for their valuable insights and participation.
