Description
This paper presents an overview of the Livelihood Improvement Programme (LIP) implemented by LI-BIRD in Myagdi, Parbat and Baglung Districts of Dhaulagiri Region under MSFP support. The Sustainable Livelihoods Approach (SLA) is taken into account to illustrate LIP. The approaches and strategy of MSFP have been reviewed within the theoretical framework of SLA. Primary data, collected from MSFP targeted districts (Myagdi, Baglung and Parbat), are used to illustrate the outcomes.
