Description
Local Initiatives for Biodiversity, Research and Development (LI-BIRD), Nepal and the Development Fund, Norway have been collaborating since 2003 and by now, both organizations have considered each other as a strategic partner. Through the funding support from NORAD via the Development Fund, LI-BIRD has successfully implemented a number of projects on agricultural biodiversity management, climate change and livelihoods improvement in various geographical locations of Nepal and South Asia. This article summarizes the outcomes of the thirteen years of partnership between LI-BIRD and the Development Fund.
