‘Strengthening Capacity of Smallholder Farmers for Resilient Livelihood (SAKSHAM)’, project is being implemented by LI-BIRD in Kanchanpur and Doti districts with funding support from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland through FELM Nepal. The project aims to improve and diversify the food and nutrition security by creating income opportunities in target communities while improving climate change adaptation and disaster risk management capacities of local governments, institutions and communities in these districts.

Job Summary: Reporting to Programme Officer, Technical Assistant (TA) will be primarily responsible for implementing day to day field level activities for the Strengthening capacity of smallholder farmers for resilient livelihood project. TA needs to work closely with individual farmers, groups, cooperatives, youth, People With Disability (PWD), local resource person, social mobilizer, local government and market actors to plan, implement and coordinate the project activities at the community level.
Education and Experience: Intermediate or JT/JTA degree in Agriculture (Plant Science). Candidates with valid motorbike/scooter license and three years of work experience in a rural setting are encouraged to apply.
