Farm Yard Manure (FYM) is one of the most commonly used organic fertilizers in the context of Nepal. It is composed of animal dung, leaf litters and wasted grass along with well mixed urine that is piled either in heap or pit method. Quality FYM is one of the most effective components to increase crop production and improved soil fertility so it is regarded as an integral element of ecological farming.
