Information and Communications Technology (ICT) plays an important role to improve people’s livelihood and agriculture sector. In Nepal, small and pro-poor farmers are suffering the most due to the effects of climate change. Limited reach of small farmers from rural areas on knowledge, skills and proven
technologies is the reason behind it. These farmers also do not have the capacity to adapt to climatic disasters. Though climate change has reduced the crop
production, there is not enough discussion, interaction and training to adapt and fight against the negative impact of climate change. In this situation, if we are not able to adapt and move forward by being aligned with climate change, then we will not be able to produce food as per the requirement.
