The brochure provides information on Farmer Field School (FFS). In agriculture development sector, FFS is one of the many agricultural extension approaches that are in practice. FFS is a group-based learning process that has been used by a number of governments, NGOs and international agencies especially to promote Integrated Pest Management (IPM). Nowadays this approach also includes other ideas and practices that make agriculture more profitable and sustainable. FFS adopts a participatory approach that allows farmers to directly experience the technology along with technicians. It provides opportunities for learning by doing.
