The Call for Success Stories is Now Closed.

Nepalese youth should play an active role in development in order to achieve feasible and long lasting changes. To discuss the current experiences and future possibilities for youth work in the development sector, LI-BIRD is organizing a workshop in Pokhara. The aim of the workshop is to bring together youth organizations and organizations working in the research and development sector, within climate change, biodiversity and agriculture, for interaction on how to involve youth to a greater extent than today.

The objectives of the workshop are:

  • To investigate how youth and the research and development sector can utilize each other’s knowledge and skills, and challenge each other's attitudes for a bigger impact in their work
  • To locate possible collaborations between youth organizations and the research and development sector, within climate change, biodiversity and agriculture
